Celebrating the Autumn Equinox

We will be meeting up at 10.30 a.m. at the entrance to St Mary's parish church, Market Place, Masham, HG4 4EF (adjacent to Johnny Baghdad's Café).

Cost: Free

Length of walk: Approx 1.5 miles, easy walking.

Facilities: cafés, pubs, public toilets, with parking in Market Place (honesty box)

We will follow a circular, level riverside walk to help us connect with the land at the time of the Autumn Equinox. Working as a group, we will create a natural mandala by the river during our journey to honour a special place. You are welcome to bring an object that holds meaning for you to place in the mandala, e.g. a crystal, or you may find something along the way.

We will be out for around one and a half hours. Please bring waterproof shoes or boots, wet weather gear, a walker's stick (optional). You may wish to bring a drink and a snack.
