Join us at Purley Chase Centre, near Atherstone (Arthur’s Stone) for launching the Wheel of Life project, as we explore the background and ‘science of life’ behind the British Constellation Zodiac. The ancient design of the star constellations in the land has been studied by several researchers in different parts of the world. It represents early cartographic designs linking the birth of early civilisations and their philosophies.
In Britain Peter Dawkins’ work over the last decades leads us to a more precise understanding of historical beliefs and phenomena relating to the use of star maps for planning, architecture, the arts, teaching and spirituality. He will be one of our speakers on the weekend.
Our Wheel of Life's 2017 programme of Circle Dance and Pilgrimage takes place monthly at places throughout Britain linked to each star constellation in the heavens as the ancient philosophers and story tellers conceived it to be - a 'zodiac' circle of myths and teachings revived for our times.
Gatekeeper members and pilgrims can celebrate through many sacred expressive arts, honouring the terrestrial star-maps, treading the cosmic paths of light and embodying our higher nature on earth. It will be like creating a 'blessing field' for the land and its communities.
