Balancing the Flame is a series of weekend workshops designed to explore, re-member and celebrate the eight most potent points of the year, the solar festivals, in relation to ourselves and the land upon which we live. These workshops are open to men, women and couples.

As we celebrate Midsummer, the energetic zenith of the year, the heat and extended light levels fill the land with a sense of it’s buxom potency. All about us are plump strawberries, zinging elderflower concoctions, the sweet scent of honeysuckle and fulsome sunshine filling our bodies with the warmth and energy of summer time. We have reached the meridian of the year and feel at our most expansive and open, as does the land. From this point onward the longest day begins to recede and the shortest night to fill. It is the beginning of the turning inwards again and we hold this knowledge as a counterbalance to all the emergent and pulsating energy that has culminated in this seasonal climax. Come and join us to celebrate the full and vibrant energy of the Summer Solstice at this most heated and creative time of the year.

The weekend costs £210 and includes all accommodation, meals and tuition.
