Wheel of Life Full Moon Meditation – Sagittarius sun/Gemini moon

04/12/2025

Wheel of Life Full Moon Meditation - Sagittarius sun/Gemini moon – 4th December 2025

The full moon link-up is offered as a way of connecting with other ‘inner pilgrims’.  You are invited to join in at 12 noon on this date - Meditation is a personal journey, which unfolds in our unique ways. As we attune together at 12 pm we can make our prayers more powerful with a common focus. For those who feel connected to this particular work of the Gatekeeper Trust perhaps we could share the focus of a wheel of silver light spinning in the British Zodiac, radiant and happy.

SAGITTARIUS ‘THE SAGE and SEER, TEACHER OF THE MYSTERIES’

The British Zodiac depicted as an ‘unequal’ star map. (Peter Dawkins’ interpretation).

The 12 ‘spears’ of quests through the year, represent our wholeness as psyche, soul and world- creator. A cosmic event, the shaking the spears of wisdom completes this Piscean ‘great’ age within our lifetime. Now we complete our annual sun-quest by recapping the wisdom of our past year’s experience, to be a seed into the next year’s starting point of the ‘great age’ of 25,000 year Aquarian cycle at the start of the 2026 Celtic year.

WHAT DO WE WANT TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE NEXT ‘GREAT AGE’ OF AQUARIUS?

OUR QUEST: What seed vision from our personal spiritual lives do we yearn to sow during the coming ‘collective initiation’ in Aquarius? Can we make it a RENAISSANCE II?

What is our collective vision quest as ‘gatekeepers’ for this global awakening, revealing an ever rising conscious resonance with Nature and Humanity’s expanding sense of identity and responsibility?

New sensibilities are expected to emerge in more and more members of humanity: The raising of our consciousness into more refined states of vision and understanding, sometimes brings a challenge of our understanding of this change. We as a trust provide education and research into the roots of our cultures where the wisdom of the earth is honoured and made conscious through ritualistic arts and sacred geometry.

EARLIEST ‘SEERS’ DISCOVERED

Discoveries by archaeologists of 10,000 year old temples reveal Pythagorean measurements, such as the ‘Fibonacci Series’, which are also found in the thistle seed-head (See Howard Crowhurst ‘The Megalithic Plan’ p.407). Were our oldest ancestors experiencing ‘holographic’ senses and perceptions of the Earth’s intrinsic harmony? They are now a model of an advanced ‘conscious mind’ with no technological framework. They had a ‘crystal’ science of grounding their wisdom with white crystal boulders, placed in all of the ‘Isles of the Hesperides’ of old.

These people may have been the originators of ‘landscape zodiacs’ which are now being proven to contain familiar symbols. Along the Michael and Mary Line, sanctuaries turned into churches, and along it six zodiacs have been identified, their Sagittarius/Gemini cusps crossed over and linked by this intriguing discovery. ‘The Archer’ is thus embodied around us. (See last article for Sun in Scorpio 2025).

SANCTUARIES IN HAMPSHIRE AND SUSSEX

OLD WINCHESTER HILL was the original settlement overlooking the Meon Valley and Beacon Hill, both containing barrows. Their ‘vision’ inspired them to move to settle in what we now know as St Catherine’s Hill, also opposite the ‘Arbour’ which they originally developed as ‘fertilising’ points for the Itchen Valley. Their ritual processing, says a clairvoyant, brought new etheric energy down into the earth. The dual character of their ‘earthing’ of healing energy could have contained ‘dual archetypes’ such as the masculine and feminine. St Catherine was seen as a sacrificial figure in Christian tradition.

THE LONG MAN AND THE GIANT

WIKI: The Long Man is one of two major extant human hill figures in England; the other is the Cerne Abbas Giant, north of Dorchester. Both are scheduled monuments. Two other hill figures that include humans are the Osmington White Horse and the Fovant regimental badges.

Sagittarius in the zodiac celebrates the ‘giant’ within us, having accumulated subtle insights and wisdoms that we may not recognize. Therefore the hill figures are appropriate for the ‘storytelling Druids’ of old.

The Cerne Giant

https://www.history.ox.ac.uk/article/cerne-abbas-giant
New research from the University of Oxford concludes that the Cerne Abbas Giant was originally carved as an image of Hercules to mark a muster station for West Saxon armies. The figure was later reinterpreted by the monks of Cerne Abbas as their local Saint Eadwold.

The Long Man of Wilmington [Wik]

As fertility symbols they remind us of our humanity, as well as the ‘spear shakers’ of creativity.. They serve to make us aware of our hidden procreative powers when collaborating with the fertile elements beneath our feet. Looking back over the year, we quest for reflective evidence of our soul in action upon this beautiful planet protecting and inspiring devotional spaces.

SAGITTARIUS – evolving THE ‘SEER’ WITHIN us.

The primordial ‘spear’ in the landscape, from high point to high point, tracks the sun’s path across ‘the heavens’. Maybe it symbolises a ‘far seeing’ by Druids, that triggered their inner intuitive knowledge of the ‘earth wisdom’ or ‘sacred geometry’, this embodying both protective and fertilising power. As ‘Hercules’ he represents the sun god, triggering the high points of a landscape where the earth energy is most intense. See the discovery of Uri Leitch: the line from the ‘Promontory of Hercules’ - or Lord Melkart the Phoenician sun god – at Hartland, Devon, creating an alignment across the South Downs to Canterbury. [See the last Sun in Scorpio article.]

It was the means by which the ancients mapped the landscape from point to point, through the whole of the ‘Isles of the Hesperides’.

It signified the high wisdom gained through solar initiation and a signal for this wisdom to become intelligible to local communities. In those far distant days, this wisdom was encoded in ‘grail stories’ such as King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Later in the Renaissance, the ‘Areopagus of Poets’ or the ‘Shakers of the Spear of Wisdom’ gained worldwide fame. These stories became our beloved Shakes-peare plays which played out on the Milky Way line of Britain: Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot, Lancashire, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Globe Theatre, London.

SACRED SITES IN THE SIGN OF SAGITTARIUS

OLD WINCHESTER HILL – Corehampton contains a barrow beneath a chapel, between the hill and Beacon Hill opposite. Wheely Down refers to a sanctuary nearby (the barrows of Beacon Hill). In the Meon Valley Roman remains of a hexagonal Roman Temple show innovative geometry. This complex sits along the South Downs, leading to Canterbury, a key cathedral shown as one of the ‘Rose Centres’ of London by Peter Dawkins.

(Old Winchester Hill from the Meon River source blessing pilgrimage 2017) - the original settlement spear-headed a move to what is now Winchester.

THE GATEKEEPER VISION OF THE MODERN UNITY OF THE THREE LANDS

The Isles of the Hesperides were anciently referred to as the ‘Land of the Golden Apples’. Our vision has always included the zodiac landscapes of England and Wales, Ireland and Scotland, with individual pilgrims travelling in between.

IDEAS FOR FUTURE PILGRIMAGES – Linking our lands, and Isle of Man:

As part of our ‘Sagittarius’ arrow, we invite pilgrims to places we have loved:

SCOTLAND – Recent research by Gary Biltcliffe and Caroline Hoare (in LeyHunter Magazine Issue 56) shows how earlier sacred hills were incorporated into later Christian temples: for instance Torphichen ‘Temple of the Raven’ was built on ‘Hill of the Raven’.

The raven was the symbol of holy kingship as in the story of King Bran whose head was taken along ‘royal Celtic roads’ to be buried in the White Hill in London. He was accompanied by ravens who still ‘guard’ the Tower Hill sacred site still used today for pre-coronation ritual.

Wiki: ‘A church in the village of Torphichen, West Lothian, Scotland. It comprises the remains of the preceptory (headquarters) of the Knights Hospitaller of the Order of St John of Jerusalem in Scotland. The place name may be Gaelic in origin, e.g., "Tóir Féichín" (the boundary/sanctuary of St Féichín) or Brythonic

A long-vision of Christian devotion between England, Ireland and Scotland reinforced the growth of Medieval Christianity, which in turn ‘upgraded’ earlier Celtic ritual sites throughout England, Ireland and Scotland.

(Ley Hunter Issue 56, p.4) ‘ The preceptory stands over a vast wooden platform, believed to be an artificial island with a causeway dating back to the first century bc before Christianity came to Scotland. Some say it was a place of pagan worship within a circle of stones around a wooden building that served as a sacred sanctuary and ceremonial roundhouse, perhaps an oracle site, hence the name ‘sanctuary of the raven’. Some old stones were found in a nearby field in the east, but later destroyed by a local farmer who feared archaeologists would disturb his land.’ (by Gary Biltcliffe and Caroline Hoare)

The Holy Well at St Declan’s hermitage – well frequented by many still today.

Do the towers relate in function to the Egyptian obelisks? The focus of earth energy as a healing prayer seems to be the intent of hermit towers, one of which is at Winchester City Walls. So the access of fertility and protection through focused prayer could be the hermit’s calling.

Two are found in Scotland and one in the Isle of Man.

Wiki: Obelisks and Points are powerful shapes, also called a column of light, and are known as symbols of resurrection. Placed as decoration in a living or work space, they enhance the feng shui of that space. They can be used in combination with other crystals to create an energy grid.

St Declan’s Way:
Saint Declan’s Way is a pilgrim walking route linking Cashel in County Tipperary and Ardmore in County Waterford. It follows the route that Declan took when going to Cashel to meet Saint Patrick in the fifth century. In turn, it is the way that pilgrims have taken to visit Saint Declan’s monastery, holy well and grave in Ardmore for the past one and a half thousand years.

….now the question of why the towers were built has a new answer: their locations and magnetic properties energetically enhanced the surrounding landscape, in the manner of feng shui and vastu, the Chinese and Hindu systems involving, among other things, the integration of architecture with nature. This is the intriguing explanation is also put forward by professional dowser Freeland in his Mysteries of the Round Towers: The subtle energies of the…

THE QUARTZ BOULDERS that connect the ‘Isles’

Exmoor – North Molton Ridge holds a line of barrows overlooking the Mid Devon woodland sanctuaries and the Gemini two circles at Belstone North Dartmoor. Many appear to have white quartz boulders exposed – were these a part of ‘far vision’ ritual ceremony?

Slieau Managh: (https://walkingonmanxhills.blog)

A massive quartz boulder with seismic instruments deep underground, sites high above the North plateau of Man. Pilgrimages were walked during 1990’s and 2015. It is said to be connected to the ‘Kings’ Rock’ where the coronations of the Kings of the Isles were conducted (sent by Richard Crowhurst, our Gatekeeper on the island).

THE ‘ROUND TOWERS’ OF THE HERMITS AND MYSTICS

The Round Tower in the ruins of Peel Castle, Isle of Man. Similar to the City Walls of Winchester, these towers may have been called Hermits’ Towers, for alchemical purposes of generating fertility and protection in the area.

Abernethy Round Tower, Scotland.
Wiki: It is one of two round towers in Scotland, alongside the tower at Brechin Cathedral.

Wiki: The 11th century Scottish tower near Brechen cathedral: ‘The inscribed St Mary's Stone has a circular border round the central motif of the Virgin and Child which echoes that on the Round Tower.’

Far vision for devotees was symbolised both in the tower giving vision ‘above’ to the stars as a sort of observatory, as well as the ‘Mary’ symbol of birthing, creativity and sacred ground.

Christian Churches with round towers: Churches often have extra towers built on the maid tower. It is said that Rosicrucians used these for meditation and enhancing local energy fields.

St Peter’s church Knowstones, Exmoor.
The small second tower on Kowstone village church, used by Rosicrucians, and those who may be connected to the origin of the name ‘The Masons’ Arms’ next door!

This connects to the Knowstone menhir down the road, which marks the junction between Exmoor and Dartmoor ‘Two Moors Way’, an extra ancient track. To date we discovered that the two moors interact via a Gemini in each landscape zodiac of Dartmoor and Exmoor, contributing to the mid Devon ‘woodland sanctuaries’. Between Gemini at Belstone, and that of the ‘Ansty’ twin village, a figure 8 of light would have been created as a spiral of devotional energy in the distant past. What is the connection with the Michael and Mary line also between the moors? (see our previous article for Scorpio sun-quest).

Note: St Peter’s emblem of cross-keys, opening the doors to ‘heaven on earth’.

Islamic emblem of th patriarch ‘keys to heaven’.
NOTE: These are suggested by Anthony Thorley to represent the Christian churches sitting on the Milky Way cusps in a landscape zodiac, where the sun’s ecliptic crosses over the Milky Way. All saints with a saltire cross are implicated as being guides to pilgrims at the entry point, the Gemini/Taurus cusp. The ancient belief involves pilgrims see themselves as imitating the life of Christ, who, in alchemical tradition, reigns with Mary at the heart of the stellar galaxy, to guide and protect humanity.

QUEST: WHAT IS OUR PROJECTED VISION OF CREATING HARMONY IN THE PLANET?

Honouring the past ‘sacred sense’ of registering high resonance in the landscape. In response these key images lead modern minds to contemplate the surrounding environment and tap into an intuitive ‘wholeness’.

CREATING AN INTERCONNECTED PICTURE– The symbolic significance of legend and carefully carried life histories of saints are still circulated in modern times.

Weaving land energy connections through story.
What stories can we tell that relate to our ‘higher senses’?

THE GODDESS OF IRELAND – as a chakric temple when we apply our inner vision of energy centres in our own body.

Through the root chakra, in Holy Island, Anglesey, a megalithic alignment oriented South from Brittany through Cornwall, Lundy Island to North in St Michael’s Island on the Isle of Man.

There is a similar ‘clairvoyant’ interpretation by Peter Dawkins of sacred hilltop forts such as Old Winchester Hill in the Meon Valley South East of Winchester. Opposite it with the Chapel on the Barrow at Corehampton, between is Beacon Hill and Wheely Down (based on the earlier word for altar}. Peter saw with his inner eye, that as the processions directed from hilltop to hilltop, a field of energy was created that blessed the land’s fertility and protected a region’s sacred sites.

The sacred sites in the landscape follow an energy science: The circular design of early shrines creating sacred space can be found in the Sagittarius section of the British Zodiac. A hexagonal Roman shrine was discovered near Winchester, and an overview of the South Downs leading to Canterbury may indicate the early science of energy being drawn into devotional centres.

Rare Circular Roman Shrines in alignment in the South:

Octagonal or circular buildings are much more common, found at several villa sites and usually interpreted as agricultural outbuildings. Octagonal shrines are also relatively more numerous than a hexagonal temple.

BECOMING OUR INNER PHOENIX

Claiming OUR INNER SAGE and the insights we generated from our past year of 2025:

Sagittarius is a symbol of our inner sage/phoenix which some call our ‘star self’. As each year completes, we add a ‘petal’ of love to our incarnating soul, building the ‘heart rose’ of love-wisdom. In the landscape our ancestors demonstrated the ‘how’ and ‘where’ they sensed the earth energy leading them, to build upon the earliest of civilisations’ wisdom.

THE ASTROLOGICAL FORECAST FOR 2026:

‘Neptune and Saturn enter Aries fully and conjunct: Dreams of Divine coming into form with our taking radical responsibility for stepping into our ancient, wise-elder selves in brand new ways to co-create ‘New Earth’.

Peter Dawkins’ research introduces us to a rare visionary perspective:

The reflections we build today are leading to 2026, as a part of a great ‘Phoenix Cycle’ transition of 25,000 years.

‘A Great Age of 25,920 years (see ‘Zodiac of Ages’) is also known as a Phoenix Cycle.

The phoenix is a symbol of perpetual creation, destruction, renewal and transmutation—or of the birth, death, rebirth and resurrection—of the cosmos. It is also a symbol of the Bodhisattva, Avatar or Christ—the incarnation or appearance of God.’

Our legacy to the new age is the wisdom science of building the lightbody of Gaia, through ‘the alchemy we are all going through all the time in order to turn ourselves into light.. I believe the planet can develop its own light body as well, a heaven on earth.’ Peter Dawkins’ Notes, April 2021). This is a potent key to the work of pilgrimage in which we create ‘footsteps of silver light’ in the land as seen clairvoyantly.
https://www.zoence.co.uk/time-cycles/phoenix-cycle/

This year’s full moon in Gemini, reflects the sun in Sagittarius, and so our inner Sage of ripened experience gives birth to the Christ light within us, and intuitively brings a deep knowing from our yearly experience. Are we ready for a ‘cosmic’ breakthrough for humanity?

SEEDS OF THE NEW:

David SpanglerWisconsin, USA) writes in his new book ‘GAIA, CHRIST AND THE EVOLUTION OF HUMANITY’ - ‘The theme of this book is the Gaian life and the emergence of a Gaian Human as a next step in humanity’s spiritual evolution.’ In his book ‘Partnering with the Spirit’ he ‘explores a method of partnership with the non-physical dimensions on behalf of our world’. (www.lorian.or)

A global civilisation is building in which GOLD is treated as ‘GOD’S MONEY’ suggests Prof WA Leibenberg, which when shared and preserved unites Humanity with the benefit of generations of cultural and legal development. His research reveals how today ‘legal architecture’ is being prepared that is non-political, and ensures corruption-free trading, while preserving an individual country’s sovereignty. BAPTISMS FROM THE GALACTIC HEART

‘It is also known now that the start of a Great Age was traditionally understood as being when the summer solstice Sun is exactly on the cusp of Gemini-Taurus, crossing the galactic equator and moving from Gemini into Taurus. The corresponding midwinter Sun will be, therefore, on the cusp of Sagittarius-Scorpio, and this is about the closest the Sun ever gets to the galactic centre, as it ‘appears’ from Earth. This is said to open up a channel between the heart of the galaxy and the Earth, via the Sun, which allows a cosmic baptism of energy and light to pour upon us. This, in fact, happens twice in each Great Age (i.e. the other time is when the midwinter Sun is on the Gemini-Taurus cusp and midsummer Sun is on the Sagittarius-Scorpio cusp); but it is the Alpha-Omega time of a Great Age that is the most significant, rounding off the death of the old Great Age and giving birth to a new Great Age.’

‘These baptisms of energy from the galactic heart are very real, being physical (i.e. bursts of cosmic super-rays) as well as metaphysical. ….it would seem to mean that the so-called wobble of the Earth's axis is actually the Earth's resonance to the cyclic waves of energy issuing from the galactic core.’

‘We are in the midst of one such cosmic baptism now, as our midsummer Sun is right on the Gemini-Taurus ‘AA’ point and we are beginning a brand new Great Age.’ (See also ‘The Phoenix Cycle’ and ‘The Great Ages’ information sheet. zoence.co.uk)

Within us we grow to realise we are both human and divine in our essence, our souls incarnating the essential truth of universal love and light.

Peter Dawkins explains:

‘Tradition explains how the twin Swans, Ham and Sa, of Hindu mythology, when united in love and friendship, become the ‘Hamsa Swan’, which in turn becomes the Blazing Star.

This is a process of enlightenment, metaphorically described, which is even now taking place in Europe in terms of the landscape as well as of human souls. This talk will emphasise how much the landscape and indeed all nature is involved in this process, and how it either helps or hinders human development depending on whether we make friends or enemies of it.’

See more of the reflections of Peter and Sarah Dawkins, Founders of Gatekeeper Trust, and others, in our online conference recordings. They bring their personal heart-felt insights into conversation with us, which arise from deep study and contemplation as pilgrims of sacred space:

Peter Dawkins:
‘A recorded discussion with Peter Dawkins around human intervention in the landscape and the creation of space which is loved and which, by extension, becomes sacred.’

COMPLETING OUR YEAR WITH DEEP GRATITUDE FOR THE PISCES ‘GREAT 2,000-YEAR CYCLE

We have investigated sanctuaries of devotion (Pisces) and used their method of ‘mindfulness’ and heart-felt search for the divine beauty of Earth. We have seen the circles, towers, shrines, and stone sanctuaries, and observed deeply. We have recorded and shared our experiences that have accumulated over many generations and have tested and used their sacred geometry. Now we carry the inspirations in our hearts. Now we create a new world of kindliness, sharing and tested wisdom, in which we extend our ‘light body’ and that of the earth’s into new resonnance. We draw on reflection how have we protected and preserved sacred space as our ancestors have done.

With deep gratitude for all pilgrims of the heart, and gratitude from our contributors: David Matthews, Cary Meehan, Peter and Sarah Dawkins; many invisible pilgrims building up throughout Britain /Wales, Ireland, The Isle of Man and Scotland.
