Wheel of Life Full Moon Meditation – Leo sun/Aquarius moon

09/08/2025

Wheel of Life Full Moon Meditation - Leo sun/Aquarius moon – 9th August 2025

The full moon link-up is offered as a way of connecting with other ‘inner pilgrims’.  You are invited to join in at 12 noon on this date - Meditation is a personal journey, which unfolds in our unique ways. As we attune together at 12 pm we can make our prayers more powerful with a common focus. For those who feel connected to this particular work of the Gatekeeper Trust perhaps we could share the focus of a wheel of silver light spinning in the British Zodiac, radiant and happy.

SUN IN LEO MOON IN AQUARIUS

JULY 10 2025
12 NOON LOCAL TIME

LEO - the playful leader likes the drama and challenge of building on a dream, a pilot plan that tests out possible good boundaries, and refines a ‘dream in action’ that would be ready for FINE TUNING in Virgo. The plan has tentative solutions that adapt and integrate a collaborative venture.

YORK PILGRIMAGE 2017

THE ROMAN WALL – enclosing the new Roman culture, and over time buildings expanded the boundaries.

The Roman city wall reveals an ideological vision of protection and positioning of earlier of sacred sites.

WHAT DO WE LEARN ABOUT THE ROMAN LEADERSHIP OF YORK IN ITS FIRST DECADE?

WIKI: The history of York, England, as a city dates to the beginning of the first millennium AD but archaeological evidence for the presence of people in the region of York dates back much further to between 8000 and 7000 BC. As York was a town in Roman times, its Celtic name is recorded in Roman sources (as Eboracum and Eburacum); after 400, Angles took over the area and adapted the name by folk etymology to Old English Eoforwīc or Eoforīc, which means "wild-boar town" or "rich in wild-boar"…..

A FORTRESS, A REGIONAL CENTRE, A ROYAL and ECLESIASTICAL CENTRE AND Throughout the succeeding centuries, York remained an important royal and ecclesiastical centre, the seat of a bishop, and later, from 735, of an archbishop. Very little about Anglian York is known and few documents survive. It is known that the building and rebuilding of the Minster was carried out, along with the construction of a thirty-altar church dedicated to Alma Sophia (Holy Wisdom), which may have been on the same site.

York became a centre of learning under Northumbrian rule, with the establishment of the library and school, the ancestor of St Peter's School. Alcuin, later adviser to Charlemagne, was its most distinguished pupil and then master.

A pilgrimage in 2017 covered what we intuitively felt was a chakric system, beginning at the junction of the two rivers OUSE and FOSSE:

We started by lighting our lantern at this junction, and following the path up into town and towards the fortress, carrying the river energy with us as a way of honouring the identify of the city as a living, flowing complex energetic system.

ACCOMPANIED BY LARGE OAK TREES ALONG THE RIVER OUSE, WE WALKED TOWARDS Clifford’s Tower, the sacral chakra, AND had a view through to the Minster following the trail of energy we sensed.

View from Clifford’s Tower to the Minster.

TO THE RIGHT OF THE MINSTER, outside the city walls St Mary’s Abbey at a gateway in the old wall, was accompanied by a collection of spectacular Yew Trees.

St Mary’s Museum Garden Storytelling Area, continuing the ancient Druidic tradition of the sacred yew.

Museum Gardens ‘The Sanctuary’ – an intuition guided the creation of this feature, continuing the tradition of yew: ‘In early times, the darkly glorious yew-tree was probably the only evergreen tree in Britain. Both Druids with their belief in reincarnation, and later Christians with their teaching of the resurrection, regarded it as a natural emblem of everlasting life. Its capacity for great age enriched its symbolic value.’ the early Irish regarded it as one of the most ancient beings on earth. Yew is the last on a list of oldest things in a passage from the fourteenth century Book of Lismore: ‘Three lifetimes of the yew for the world from its beginning to its end.’

The yew’s reputation for long life is due to the unique way in which the tree grows. Its branches grow down into the ground to form new stems, which then rise up around the old central growth as separate but linked trunks. After a time, they cannot be distinguished from the original tree. So the yew has always been a symbol of death and rebirth, the new that springs out of the old, and a fitting tree for us to study at the beginning of the new year. As the days now grow longer with the beginning of a new solar cycle, we move into the future on the achievements of the past, new creativity springs forth grounded in the accomplishments of the year gone by.

The holy Yews of the abbey balanced the administrative Roman city, with their own ancestral symbolic importance, making the spiritual life of the new town a key devotional site for Celtic travellers.
Roman administration encompassed the Druidic ancestral link, kept pristine while the empire flowered. The Romans probably used the local Druidic name to conserve continuity.

In our second pilgrimage 2018, the site becomes a place of deep contemplation for me. We were lead by Sarah to a dance of Paneurythmy that has the tradition of sacred symbol and energy attunement, in a magical setting.

The origin of the name ‘York’ links to the importance of the yew tree:

Ancient and pre-Roman name of Eborakon given for York - “the place where yew trees grow” ,,, Proto-Celtic eburos, with all of these meaning ‘yew.’ (St Mary’s Abbey – Museum gardens yew trees. https://medium.com)

York’s yet more ancient past: ‘Land of the Yew Tree’

Looking at earlier research linking East Yorkshire to a centre of forgotten Druid activity at Market Weighton, and other probable links to the Druid faith at Arras and nearby Drewton, as well as at the famous Rudston Monolith (site of the largest standing stone in Britain) only 20 miles away, we might speculate to what extent York followed this trend being located so nearby to those sites and being such a focus of Roman military aggression and activity at the time.

It would ‘helpfully subdue the local population and their influential religious leaders to their rule; …yew trees are very common across the ancient churchyards of Britain, and it is widely known that early Christian churches were deliberately built upon existing sites of spiritual significance — namely the Druid and pagan sites which the churches replaced.

THORNBOROUGH HENGES

In addition to our sacred dance at the Abbey, we visited the three rings of Thorbury, positioned to reflect the Orions belt constellation design, like the Egyptian pyramids.

THORNBOROUGH RINGS

http://www.stone-circles.org.uk/stone/thornborough.htm
Wiki: They are thought to have been part of a Neolithic and Bronze Age 'ritual landscape' comparable to Salisbury Plain and date from between 3500 and 2500 BC. The monument complex has been called 'The Stonehenge of the North'.

https://frontiersmagazine.org
The first major monument on the site was built around 3,500BC. This was a 1.2km-long processional way, aligned so its western end pointed towards the mid-winter setting of Orion. This also meant the eastern end aligned to the midsummer solstice. Then, around 3000BC, when the three henges at Thornborough were constructed, they appear to have been deliberately laid out to mirror Orion’s Belt. Not only this, but their southern entrances framed the rising of the bright star, Sirius, which in turn meant their axis aligned on the midwinter solstice.

On our second pilgrimage we danced Paneurythmy, encapsulating key qualities of our human emergence and an affinity with the geometry of the earth.

Another ‘nested’ alignment the Crowhurst presents in his book ‘The Megalithic Plan, is a harmonic alignment between the Rollright Stone Circle and The ‘Orion’ shaped circles of Thornborough.

WHAT PART OF LEADERSHIP DID THE NEOLITHIC BUILDERS FOCUS ON?

Their ancestry included stories and teachings from other parts of the landscape, where ancestors designed sanctuaries to reflect the constellation of Orions’ Belt. An identity with the cosmos: The Thornborough Rings mimicked Orions Belt, similar to the alignment of sacred sites in Orkney. Megalithic alignments reached from Brittany and Carnac to Orkney. A huge distance for a culture without technical means of transport. The spirit of the land held true focus, in relation to the solar/lunar angular passages across the landscape.

Leadership is visionary, and in a flair for greatness and drama, the Megaltihic builders had a view afar.

THE RUDSTON MONOLITH

RUDSTON, YORK AND THORNBOROUGH MAP - within a larger alignment from Silbury, further North the sites align with hidden significance.

INTERCONNECTIVITY OF SANCTUARIES:

Oe of the highest visions we can hold as researching, listening pilgrims, is the way very early civilisations knew the integrity of the Hesperides as one land: Britain, Ireland and Scotland. Here according to the perfected alignments, these keep continuity with Pythaorean theorem - we inherit a practical ‘land architecture’ of great precision, and now we have come to trust it.

Avebury and Silbury form a ‘sacred alliance’ of geometric accuracy that will finally lead to Castleriff, Lindisbarne and then to Cape Wrath Scotland. In another analysis by Howard Crowhurst, the magnanimous leaders of the Megalithic age connected Europe and Egypt with sacred geometry that built a foundation for our Western civilisation on Pythagorean arithmetic.

Rooted in Warwickshire, the Rollrights with the King’s Stone make a a triplicity of sacred measurement. How did the Megalithic Druids keep precise observations in their teachings across the whole of the Hesperides? Was it is cyclic symbolic storytelling to the people?

William Stuckley’s drawing of the Whispering Knights, which form a triangular relationship with the Rollright ‘Kings Men’ stone circle and the King’s Stone.

The position of the Rollrights on Howard Crowhurst’s map suggested in his video further alignments to the north. ‘The Solstice Line in Southern England’ connects with Rudstone and Lindisfarne. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-e&q=Howard+Crowhurst+Video+Solstice+Line#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:df0a0baf,vid:bVL_Vgl58qY,st:0

PRECISION OF THE MEGALITHIC WIZARDS: THE ROLLIGHTS AND THORNBOROUGH:

Howard Crowhurst’s measurements of the relationship between the Rollrights and Avebury p.189 in his book ‘The Megalithic Plan’ it shows there is a ‘triple square connection’ between them. What’s more, on p. 193 the relationship of the centre of the Rollright circle aligns amazingly with centre of the northern circle of Thornbury.: ‘This North-South axis is precise to one hundredth of a degree.’

FURTHER RESEARCH BY MEMBERS OF GATEKEEPER TRUST:

The intriguingly possible ‘diamond’ linking Oxford, Bath, Winchester and Kingston upon Thames:

This complex of cities based on deep, hidden Megalithic foundation, sites upon the Michael and Mary Line through Silbury and Avebury. It The hypothesis is that it linkswith the Avebury-Stonehenge circle and solstice alignments further north. It signals the Megalithic archectural artistry, the diamond shape found on other gold ritual objects at Stonehenge. This design seems to indicate a hidden knowledge of the intelligence in the land, which when recognised by human intelligence, becomes a cultural ‘wisdom’. The Druids placed new boundary points with profound ritual and mythic storytelling for the people. These are now signalling our ancestors hidden wisdom underpinning our culture.

Links the St Catherine's Hill Winchester with the Rufus line... etc an interesting analysis of possibly how the Megalithic measurements interconnect (subject to more precise map work and angle measurements etc). In the landscape there are orientation with the chapel site on top of the hill, and these equate with the ‘wheel of the seasons’, in the NW the new Celtic year began, marked by the city and its powerful cathedral.

[Image Charlotte Yonge 2018)

Following the wheel of the solar cycle, the key settlement on St Catherine’s Hill brought many connections North and South, setting the ‘diamond’ dynamic of landscape connectivity into our own cultural cycles. The hypothesis suggested by Richard Douglas has many potential alignments to discover.

It is an illustration of how those possibly pre-Druid priests observed the precise movements of sun and moon and then became unknown ancestors whose work lead to the Greek philosophic tradition underpinning our modern culture. Intuitive observations as a part of their philosophic Leo leadership were extensive across the British Isles and Brittany. They can be measured as shown by Howard Crowhurst’s book talks and videos. It seems these observations were experimentally organised to translate what they saw in the sky 'gods' , delivered to people through rituals at the precise transit times, and later to become the origin in storytelling of the Greek sky gods.

Its just a story with intriguing implications, now interpreted through modern measuring technology and revealing deep geographic mathematics and suggest ritualising harmonically the natural forces of nature: a cosmic resonance and tune. Instruments now can detect ‘microscopic vibrations and secret sounds inaudible to the human ear’ and we now can extend our sense to ‘feel the aliveness’ of growing things, of Nature around us.. https://jezrileyfrench.co.uk/plant-tree-soil-recording.php

We are in a digital age offering new in depth observations extending our sense and making recordings of invisible ‘sounds’ from nature . We begin to believe the significance of the Druidic ‘Yew’ in sacred tradition.

OUR QUEST FOR MODERN LEADERSHIP across continents - what is our highest vision. Is it the spiritual future for Humanity where we dare to leap into an additional dimension of belief that ‘the future is NOW’ Your soul needs these setbacks and hurdles in life to perfect specific skills and strengthen your self-belief.. This is the beginning of a new ‘great age’ of 2500 years… the seeds of great achievements have been sown and exist in our imagination and culture. Today is the day we hold faith in our true, star selves, ….’can we marry Saturn’s self-discipline and responsibility with a strong Jupiter urge for creativity and fun?

‘Jupiter square Saturn 2025 indicates a crisis of confidence, doubt, and uncertainty about our meaning in a world of increasing polarity, immorality, injustice, and despair. Jupiter square Saturn natal can feel like a road trip with the hand brake on. Other people and circumstances will test your faith and optimism from childhood onward. A sense of heaviness or responsibility may limit your ability to express your high level of creative talents, which can harm your self-esteem. Your soul needs these setbacks and hurdles in life to perfect specific skills and strengthen your self-belief’. WE WELCOME THE NEW GREAT AGE OF 25000 YEARS, as builders of an Aquarian Gaian-Human being, a synthesis of planetary wisdom and our inner cosmic origins. We learn and apply the pure logic of the Mineral Kingdom, ruled by pure sovereignty of gold’s pure radiance.

THE COSMIC MESSAGE FOR HUMANITY: In the month of July, 2025, Uranus enters a rapport with Gemini, to last some years. This suggests our own styles of INTUITIVE LEADERSHIP will embrace the planetary need for good and well regulated communication: the ‘unity in diversity’ principle of a GREAT NEW AGE. This planetary influence can now open doors of our perception and language: poetic as well as precisely captured resonances from Nature are how we learn to evolve our consciousness.

We are now entering planetary reconnections of a deep and long lasting quality, a creative technological leap of creative Humanitarian work of recovering human dignity and sovereignty. This new digital dignifying age will bring many into a new light of the ‘divinity within’.

How will we act to consolidate these principles of universal love-light, which in the end is the unique and magical ‘leader of new creative life’ within us all?
