Please note that there is no reception/signal down in the valley at Hunter’s Inn – so we won’t be able to pick up messages from 11am on the day of the pilgrimage.

Description of event

We shall walk along the River Heddon to the beach, enjoying its dramatic landscape with beautiful trees and plants. Meet the huge Chief Cliff Guardian of the beach. We will also be chanting, singing of water themed songs, and giving blessings on the beach. We will also collect natural plant and other materials to contribute to a mandala, (our gift to the waters and the Mother Earth) which will be created near Hunter’s Inn.

There will be two groups that will combine energies:

1. Less able bodied – who can visit the delightful watery gardens at Hunter’s Inn and join in activities (creative journal and poetry) led by Charlotte Yonge;
2. Able bodied walkers – Pilgrimage along the valley to the sea.

Both parties will meet to create a mandala and share experiences before a late lunch 2.30pm .
