Come to the Gatekeeper Trust’s Pilgrims’ Day for an informative, uplifting and friendly gathering in the glorious setting of Avebury and the Marlborough Downs. Enjoy good company, with talks and a guided pilgrimage with Maria Wheatley and Gatekeeper Trustees.

The day will draw on a decade of work in the sacred landscape of Wiltshire, and the themes of the annual Gatekeeper conference in Pewsey, as well as providing an opportunity to share your own and others’ research and pilgrimages in local areas.

OUTLINE PROGRAMME

Morning: Starting 10AM at Avebury Sports & Social Club

• Trustees: introduction to the Avon Landscape Grail; experiences from exploring the local river network and the healing power of presence and water blessing.
• Maria Wheatley will share her expert knowledge on underground watercourses of the Avebury landscape and connection with the elemental energies.

Afternoon:

• Tour of Avebury stone circles, underground water resonances, Michael and Mary line node – led by Maria Wheatley and trustees
• Opportunity to share reflections and pilgrimage stories
• Close at 5PM

VENUE:

Avebury Sports & Social Club, Beckhampton Road, Avebury SN8 1RD.
Approaching from the Beckhampton roundabout on the A4, the entrance to the club is on the left after the National Trust car park and before you enter the stone circles.
Free parking is provided at the club.
