GATEKEEPER WHEEL OF LIFE PROJECT
PILGRIMAGE TO EXPLORE THE SIGN OF CAPRICORN
And THE RE-ACTIVATION THE NEW YEAR’S SEED OF INSPIRATION
January 10th 2020
12 – 5pm
With Charlotte, Gail and Angela
Water-weaving from St Catherine’s Hill. Winchester Water Meadows to East Meon river source in the Meon Valley below Old Winchester Hill, we will honour and follow the footsteps of our ancestors, exploring the high art of land healing and the Capricornian ‘consolidation and initiation’ of creative form. This time of year is when we activate our new seed vision for the coming year, like a seed cracks its hull from deep within the earth. The Aquarian seed we are sowing is that of our subtle, intuitive self which now can become grounded in the material
world, which is guarded by the Capricornian gifts of Reason-Questing and Discernment. This is the first of our travels to bless river sources in Hampshire this year.
Park at the Park-and-ride near St Catherine’s Hill. We will meet at the hillside cafe at 12 noon, light our lanterns and gather up the water sprites with sounding and Tibetan bowls. We then drive past Telegraph Hill, on the ancient Hampshire Highway past Beacon Hill to the Meon Valley. At the foothills of Old Winchester Hill are the ponds and springs feeding into the Meon River. At the bottom of the old settlement and barrow studded hill, is the very rare hexagonal Roman temple site at Meonstoke, It is believed that ancient processional rituals up both these two hills generated a fusiion of spiritual energy over the valley to fertilise the land. This is a very potent landscape that connects the South Down highway with the equally significant landscape around Canterbury and its geomantic relationship to London. What can we learn from it, what does it need, and how can we create a water-web of blessing in our landscape zodiac?
