Pilgrimage Along the ‘Rockstone’ Ley

22/06/2021

Celebrating the Midsummer Festival of Joy!

Tuesday 22nd June, 10.30am

Click here to book tickets online via Eventbrite

The ‘Rockstone Ley’ is an earth energy line running due North South through Norfolk and Suffolk and extending southwards as far as Kent It was discovered and researched by Pam Bridges in 2007

We plan to walk part of the line from St Mary’s Church in Walpole to the ancient Rock Stone near Chediston, a walk of approximately one hour. Then after lunch to visit St Andrews Church in Wissett.

The large Rock Stone stands in a private garden and the owners, who are friends of Pam, have said we may eat our picnic there and have kindly offered to provide us with tea and cake!

We shall then drive the short distance to Wissett, where we can explore this beautiful village and Church of St Andrew.

We will meet at 10.30 outside St Mary’s Church in Walpole. There is no Parking by the Church, so please park in the street at the bottom of the hill and walk up to the church.

Because of the walk we will need to leave one or two cars, depending on numbers, near the Rock Stone, to transport us to Wissett and then back to Walpole at the end of the day. Please be prepared to help with this.

You will need to bring a picnic, something to sit on if it’s wet, and to wear suitable shoes or boots for walking. (A good sense of humour and a sense of direction would be helpful!)

Please: Let us know in good time if you intend to come, and your telephone number, in case we need to get in touch with you.
