Gatekeeper Trust Winter Solstice 2018

Friday 21st December
Sunrise on Thorpeness Beach, Suffolk Followed by a Bonefire in 8 Acre Wood, Rendham.
Meeting at 7.30 am
In front of Thorpeness Country Club (seaward side) you can park along the road and there is a path down to the beach.
The sunrise is at approx 8 am.
We will then drive to Rendham, for breakfast in the Barn at 8 Acre Wood. After which there is a short walk through the wood to a circlular clearing at the top where we will have a Bonfire!
Bring winter solstice songs, drums, poetry or dances to share.
John and Jo Rogers planted the wood 30 years ago, John, who died in July, wished us to continue having Gatekeeper events here. We are very grateful to his widow Jo for welcoming us here this winter solstice.

Please can you bring some food for your breakfast. We will provide mugs of tea and coffee.
Waterproofs and wellies are recommended.
