Meet: Avebury National Trust Car Park
AVEBURY, Wiltshire SN8 1RF
(On A4361 in Avebury) (OS grid ref:173:SU102699)
This year, we will investigate, explore, experience and discuss some of the recent crop circles in and around the sacred landscape of Avebury and the surrounding villages, assuming that there are any crop circles this year, and that they are legally accessible with the farmer’s permission.
We will meet in the National Trust car park at Avebury, to share cars to visit some of the most recent crop circle formations of the season. Picnic or café lunch in Avebury. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear, as the crop circle visits may entail a certain amount of walking. There is a charge for parking in the car park at Avebury unless you are a member of the National Trust or English Heritage; farmers may also charge for access to crop circles;
Please note: All arrangements are tentative, and depend on the availability of crop circles to visit. Please bear this in mind when booking. It is possible to pay on the day, but you must let the Secretary know by Friday 26 July that you plan to attend.
Please book online at www.gatekeeper.org.uk, by email firstname.lastname@example.org, or direct through the Gatekeeper Secretary on 0300 123 7723
We will not know until the evening of Friday 26 July 2019 whether this event will take place; please check with the secretary if in doubt whether to travel.
