CELEBRATING THE SUN IN VIRGO

FULL MOON MEDITATION AT 12 NOON
WEDNESDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2020

You are warmly invited to join a celebration to honour this time of the year and this place on the landscape of Britain.

Lincolnshire represents Virgo on the landscape of Britain. Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury, planet of the mind, the poser of thought and the nervous system. Virgo is known as “the breadbasket” its symbol being the maiden with a sheaf of golden corn, as well as symbolising the craftsman. Lincolnshire, with its history of agriculture, is also known as “the breadbasket of Britain”.

After the meditation a small group of us will be pilgrimaging through some ancient woodland known as Heartwoods. The trees at this time of year, with their changing colours, are the embodiment of the craftsman of earth’s beauty. We will honour them with poetry, singing and dancing.

and call out “Stay a while”
The light flows from their branches

into the world to do this, to go easy,
